SALES MANAGER - EUROPEAN MARKET

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
 

  • Research and develop new business opportunities in foreign countries

  • Oversee the direct market (OEM) and indirect (distributors) with frequent visits to customer portfolio

  • Promote the company's products

  • Analyze the potential market and sets up direct interventions on prospective customers

  • Following the sales process in cooperation with the customer service

  • Handles problems by proposing solutions aimed at customer satisfaction

  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence

  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs

  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Skills and training:
 

  • Technical and commercial experience in mechanical  / industrial supply companies

  • Strong business sense and industry expertise

  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets

  • Fluent knowledge of English and preferably another language between German, French, Spanish or Portuguese

  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills

  • Willingness to travel frequently in Europe

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

To plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads

  • Source and develop client referrals

  • Prepare sales action plans and strategies

  • Schedule sales activity

  • Develop and maintain a customer database

  • Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials

  • Plan and conduct direct marketing activities

  • Make sales calls to new and existing clients

  • Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients

  • Conduct product training

  • Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports

  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person

  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships

  • Follow up on sales activity

  • Perform quality checks on product and service delivery

  • Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management

  • Carry out market research and surveys

  • Participate in sales events

  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
